Hints to the DEMO version of MKT ================================ The MKT Demo can be executed based on Microsoft WINDOWS Operation Systems from version 98SE onwards but also NT 4.0 (Service pack 3, Internet Explorer 4 at least). A screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 pixels is required. All of the therefore necessary files are stored in the self extracting archive MKT_EN_IMM.EXE. Please copy the archive into an arbitrary empty path and start it for extracting. Then you can start the Demo program MKT.EXE. After the first start all necessary settings are automatically adapted to the used path. The Demo simulates standard measure and day values of the period of the last 30 days before the program start each based on fictive measured values from March 2005, which also can be visualised in graphics and lists. 1-minute-values are - to limit the size of the archive file - for the day of the program start in the period from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. available. To get more information about MKT please read the file MKT.PDF. Therefore an ACROBAT READER from version 3 (recommended from version 5.1) has to be installed operable. The current, free of charge version of the Reader is to be downloaded via the WEB address http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. From the operating program MKT you can get help if you press the -key. The help file is in case of necessity automatically opened and the correct page is shown, if the ACROBAT READER is installed. Further hints: -------------- So that the reports can be automatically filled in you possibly have to allow the Macros out of the template MEVIS.DOT in your MS WORD. Therefore via the WORD menu "Ectras.Macro.Security" the security level has to be set to "medium" and while opening the reports in the dialogue of the security warning "Activate macros" has to be selected. If you want to operate the Demo in another path or to rename the Demo path, it has to be newly installed in the changed path. Otherwise all settings of the layout, lists, graphics and object depictions get lost.
